Traditional Herbalism practices are prominent in our modern world yet often become co-opted with capitalistic gain at the forefront. Nommo Apothecary maintains a commitment to keeping Herbal care accessible to all, especially marginalized peoples.

Donations allow for those with less financial means to still receive much needed care.

Nommo Apothecary will always incorporate the highest quality herbs, often hand-harvested and crafted by single hands or small farms. The plants in our blends will never come from bulk herb suppliers or contain synthetic ingredients.

This mission to maintain quality and integrity as a small business requires a bit more funding upfront to remain sustainable over the long term.

As a Black Woman-owned business, Nommo Apothecary is not removed from the larger atmosphere of discriminatory and exclusionary practices that inhibit growth and access to certain spaces. It was formed as a safe haven to share knowledge and a deep admiration for plants and desire to provide care.

This requires a level of Community support to ensure that these obstacles become less relevant and that the care itself is what gets amplified.
